My approach to individual therapy is rooted in the belief that every person possesses the innate capacity for personal growth . I hope to facilitate a journey of self-discovery and healing, empowering my clients to realise their fullest potential.
I have postgraduate qualifications in psychology and integrative counselling. Most recently I have been working in clinical research looking at novel ways to treat depression.
Integrative humanistic psychotherapy combines various therapeutic approaches, tailoring them to the individual needs and experiences, with a central focus on promoting self-awareness and personal growth. This form of therapy emphasises the client's inherent capacity for self-healing and personal development, encouraging them to explore and understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.
The therapist and client work collaboratively, creating a supportive environment where the client feels safe to express themselves authentically. By integrating techniques from different therapeutic schools, I offer a flexible and holistic approach, aiming to understand your challenges and support your journey towards good mental health.
